Northern New Mexico Workforce Connection (NNMWC) provides services under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA). Funding is received through the Northern Area Local Workforce Development Board (NALWDB).

The Northern New Mexico Workforce Connection operates as One Stop Career Centers where we provide assistance with employment, career opportunities and Rapid Response.

Rapid Response is the transition of dislocated workers from notification of layoff to facilitate return to employment as soon as possible.

Rapid Response resources, combined with other available resources, provide workers with services needed to ease the adjustment process and return to productive employment.
The  Northern Rapid Response Program creates a coordinated outreach effort, utilizing mandatory partners of the Act to provide timely information on services provided by partners that can be of assistance to a worker who is dislocated from employment. Our services include resume assistance, beginning computer classes, work skills training, job search assistance, job referrals, short term pre-employment training and short term vocational training. Please contact us to set up an appointment for more information or further assistance.
